Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

The Riverside Cafe - a somewhat hidden gem at Queen & Broadview for those who love good beer, good mussels and other fine food & drink - got an excellent review in today's Toronto Star that will likely lead to them being not-so-hidden any more.

You can read the review here - and if you've never been to the Riverside, I highly recommend that you check it out soon, even despite the popularity that will probably follow in the wake if this review.

I was a little early for the clutch concert at the opera house last night and decided I'd check this place out. well chosen beer list being a good combination of lcbo favs and harder to find goodies. friendly staff too. I'm definately going back soon.
