For starters I would enjoy the ENTIRE Fullers and Youngs line on cask. Rather than looking for the one great beer try a WIDE variety of real ales. When you go down to the local pub, always ask what's on cask and what's fresh. With that in mind check out the CAMRA website, or get their good pub guide. Just enjoy the variety of ales while your there.

Timothy Taylor Landlord is probably the best cask you can get in London.

Also, go to the Jerusalem Tavern in Clerkenwell (just a couple of blocks from the Farringdon underground stop). It's the only pub that has St. Peter's on cask ... the Organic Best Bitter is awesome. Note ... they're closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

For pubs, check out fancyapint.com and beerintheevening.com. Fancy a Pint is really good, because you can search out London pubs by location. Their rating system is pretty good.

I'm off to London on Wednesday, and I'm looking forward to my first pint. Most lilkely a TT Landlord.

I love how nonchalant this response is. "the fat duck, a restaurant in bray". aka "one of the best restaurants in the world, with one of the world's most famous and revered chefs". :o

Are you doing a stage?

Whatever you're doing, I'm sure it's awesome.
