Cameron's Cask Night - Last Thurs of each month

Post by GregClow »

Just thought it might be a good idea to have a thread for discussing any trips out to Cameron's Cask Night, since there is a similar thread for Project X.

Also, it seems like a good place to mention that the Dec edition will be happening on Thu Dec 17th due to the holidays.

Has anyone been heading out to these? The trek out to Oakville is a bit much but if anyone is driving (with a DD of course) I might be up for tagging along sometime.

Here's the info about tomorrow's February Cask Night at Cameron's. Dunno if there are any spots left, but it might be worth a shot:

-----

There is only one Olympic event going on right now that we at Cameron's care about and that's hockey. So don't be surprised if you see some Hockey things going on. Joining us this month to supply what will without question be some delectable food are our wonderful friends from Whole Foods Oakville. We will also be joined by some members of the Oakville Blades. Coincidentally they also love hockey. Now if your Canadian blood doesn't get pumping with the thought of hockey and great beer than maybe some great prizes will get you excited. Some people will leave Cask Night with some extra goodies. And one lucky person who attends the after party will get something so great we can't even mention it for fear that your head might explode with excitement.

Now if you don't want to miss out on all this fun be sure to click on the link for your invite to February's Cask Night. But if you want to GUARANTEE you get a spot at either this months Cask night or any future Cask Night call the brewery and ask to prepay*.

Send us an email at promotions@cameronsbrewing.com to get your name on the guest list.

Or to call the brewery to prepay please call 905 849-8282

it was much fun when Jon was there
If they give a heads up on something special, like a barleywine, I may schedule a little business meeting in the area (wink wink)

Been a bit since I've posted here, sorry for the multi-month delay.

The Cask Nights at Cameron's are still going strong. Last month featured Blueberry's in the beer, the beer BBQ sauce and The Beer Ice Cream all created by Jason Rees of BBQBlog.ca (well not the beer but he did assist). Would be nice to see some of the Towlers make the trek.

Is there interest in (someone other than me :) ) organizing some kind of van/bus to head out some time? A few of us talked about this at Cest What the other night. There was a bartowel bus tour done ages ago wasn't there? Could be fun!

Hey Jer, there was a bus trip out here several years ago that went to a few breweries. It was one of the most talked about topics at the time. I think Cass spearheaded that one but I suspect he's a little too busy these days. You can always take the go train out here, it's not far from the brewery.

Newf's at Cameron's?! ...and no one invited me. Harumph!
I'm debating going to crash the party in true Newfie style and see if they hold the tradition well in Ontario.

Also, Newfies at a cask night in a brewery? We'll drink you dry!
