Beerfest in Newfoundland

Post by Cagiva650 »

I just recieved this email from the Newfoundland Liquor Corp.

"Beer Fest is back! This 2 night event will take place March 26th & 27th at the St. John's Convention Centre from 7pm to 10pm. With a souvenir sample cup in hand, come employ your senses and experience over 80 different types of beer and a variety of ciders, 30% of which are new to the market!!

Sample through interactive demonstrations, while listening to live music and enjoying a variety of food in a beer garden atmosphere. Ticket sales begin March 5th. Please check the website for complete details."

Over 80 different types of beer. 30% of which are new. A big improvement over the 40 different beers last year. None of which were new. I would even enjoy 40 different beers if it wasn't ALL Molsons/Labatt mass market lager.
I won't be cancelling my trip to Mondial just yet

All the time, all the time at it.
If you`re reading this, there`s a 15% chance you`ve got a significant drinking problem. Get it fixed, get recovered!

The NLC finally posted a list of the products that are going to be available at the Beerfest. I'm looking forward to having my old favorites Young's Double Chocolate Stout, Samuel Smith Imperial Stout, and Blanche De Chambly.
It is good to see that Hockley Valley is going to have a presence.
Nothing too exciting on this list, but its a move in the right direction for the NLC.
I won't be cancelling my trip to Mondial ;)
