Weird - I guess I'm blind. Or had trouble seeing over my pallet of Hopfen Weisse. :)

They have a whack of all three of these on the shelf at the Atrium On Bay location.

Betelgeuse still hasn't shown up on the LCBO website, but it was in the internal system, and rang through at $2.35 a bottle vs. $2.20 for the Roggenbier and Lemon Tea.

Loads of Betelgeuse at Laird and Eglinton also. Scanned fine IIRC. Very sweet though, not my favourite tripel.

Man, you are right. My first thought was "this is like candy". Would love to see the Helles Bock and Pilsner as standalones at the LCBO. These three turning up (two of them somewhat unexpectedly) is promising.

Had a bottle of the Hopfen Weisse tonight... Hot damn, I'm going to have to go back for my own pallet!

I found all 3 at the LCBO in Barrhaven (Lemon Tea in bottles and cans). The canned Lemon Tea scanned, but the Roggenbier and the Betelgeuse did not. Paid $2 each...sweet!

In its own way... though I think I am preferring the Schneider version. And it's certainly not as pricey....

I agree...let's hope for the Helles Bock and the Oktoberfest Marzen.

I'm really glad that these Mill STreet bottles have been available. That roggenbier is fantastic, but I couldn't handly the betelgeuse. Too sweet.

i think most of the problems with the betelgeuse were cause by packaging. a filtered, under carbonated, triple will alway taste sweet and flabby. i really dont think they should have bottled the betel without bottle conditioning.

the roggenbier is the best of the 3 IMO
