Which ones of these are you guys enjoying these so far?

I find the Blanche du Paradis an unusual and tasty Witbier. The Dominus Vobiscum Blanche is perhaps a notch above it but also costs way more, so I'm enjoying the Paradis as something I can knock back a couple of any day. A sometimes overlooked beer style!

The Route des Epices is a nice peppery ale which I like better blended 1:1 with Aphrodisiacque (AKA Aphrodite, also arriving soon.) So I hope everyone tries it either way.

I know the Derniere Volonte and Corne du Diable will kick butt, as soon as stock levels stabilize and I can actually go get my hop fix. These sell ridiculously fast at Cooper St.

The Equinoxe du Printemps Maple Scotch Ale (not part of the LC's DDC feature) is also really good and selling for <> seven bucks at Only Café.

Really like the Blanche, but I could barely finish the Route Des Espices. Here's my review on BA:

341ml bottle from the Richmond & Fanshawe LCBO. Part of the Dieu du Ciel! Brewery Feature Release. Pours a deep copper orange with ruby hues, a thick off-white ring, and speckles of lacing on the nonic. Smell and taste are faint cocoa and vanilla, touch of cinnamon, dried fruit, a HUGE black pepper spiciness, some caramel and mocha undertones, slight bitterness, and a very hot and astringent finish. Rye aromas develop as the beer warms. A big blast of peppery heat lingers in the throat for quite some time, and I find it a little overwhelming, even unpleasant. Mouthfeel is dry, grainy, medium, spicy and peppery body, bitter and tingling astringency to end. This is a struggle to get through. I respect the fact that DDC has used an innovative, experimental recipe here, but for me it's just not an enjoyable beer.

Nothing, because despite the online inventory show several hundred bottles of four different kinds, I spent the better part of an hour trying to convince the staff at the Guelph LCBO that they had some, but they told me it must be a mistake, and they absolutley don't have any. Idiots.

Enjoy the release! I doubt I'll see any this far north. Good thing I'm in Ottawa in a few weeks. Gatineau here I come!

I really like the Route des Epices - the peppery note is very strong, kind of like someone went overboard with grains of paradise. I find it much more flavourful than the Mill St. Roggenbier.

Corne Du Diable Rocks, very hoppy.

I really love Blanche Du Paradis. Very refreshing witbier.

Route du Espice surprised me. I was not thinking I would like it. But I loved it!

For my money, I'm finding the Blanche one of the better witbiers I've ever had. The St. Bernardus is probably the only one I remember enjoying more.

I still like fresh Blanche de Chambly better. But the Paradis is still really nice.

I'd have to do a side by side, but going by memory of the BdC, I'm pretty comfortable saying I'm liking the Paradis better. A little more refreshing than piquant, perhaps

It has a really nice unusual floral/fruit taste and doesn't seem at all gimmicky. Paradis is distinctive, and I agree about St Bernie by the way - it is mind-blowing when fresh.

Lots of DDC beers seem to beguile you more than just blow away your taste buds (leave that to the Americans.)

Corne Du Diable was very good but at the price point i don't think i'd be buying any more.

The one that surprised me the most (pleasantly) was definitely Route des Epices. Didn't expect to like this, but like it a lot! I agree that it's like Mill St Roggenbier, only better.
