Idea - Aerating wort in a blender with fresh hops thrown in.

So I came up with this idea....
Can I bust up hops and aerate my wort in a blender?
I'll throw a bunch of fresh hops-on-the-cone into a blender (or a food processor [the kind with 2 blades that spin in a circle]), and pour in some wort, then blend for a few seconds to bust up the fresh hops, and at the same time blend air into the wort. Then I'll throw the mixture into the fermenter and let the yeast have at 'er.
I could probably do it 3 or 4 times to blend a good amount of air into a respectable volume of wort.
But I think it's not a bad idea. I can't see any down side.
So I thought I'd ask y'all if you know of any thing bad that would happen from this?
Discuss.....
