New Brewpub Rumour

Just heard that somebody has rented 2876 Dundas St W (in the Junction) with the intention of opening a brewpub.
Given that this is two blocks from my house, I'm pretty interested.
Anybody heard anything?

Ales are too heavy. Guinness is a meal in a glass.

Not counting the cream ale, and the lager ale.

I'll rephrase: Anybody heard anything worth sharing?

I happened to meet one of the folks behind this venture on the weekend, and it's definitely a go, with plans to open in early 2011.
I don't want to blow too many details, as the chap I was talking to is a lurker here and will likely chime in with the full scoop when it's closer to opening. But I will say that the name, IIRC, will be the Indie Ale House, and he's planning to offer a wide range of brews, from a light golden ale for the mainstream lager drinkers, to uber-hopped IPAs, big stouts, etc. for the geeks.
Guy seems to know his stuff, so I'm expecting good things.

A brewpub within the confines of the last dry area of Toronto - oh the horror! Won't anyone think of the children!

Just as I said. I like the name Indie Ale House & hope the beers & circumstances grant the owner much success at
this nifty Keel and Dundas location.

They would need a separate retail entrance a la the Granite/Mill Street to do that I think.
