At first glance I would say that overall this is a bit of a letdown in light of recent LCBO release but it is a treat for Hopheads like myself to have both the Tree DIPA and Gemini released at the same time!

we are so excited to be included in the release - this is our first official release into Ontario - hopefully not the last

Just a correction - the Tree Brewing HopHead Double IPA is now 8.3% ABV

+1 to that. I hope to see plenty more Tree beer in future LCBO releases.

Aside from the Trafalgar, the only less-than-exciting things here are the Springbock, which will be nice as ever I'm sure, and the Orange Peel, which just isn't my thing. Everything else looks awesome! Tree and Nobel and Skalfti and Carolous and Panil in one release? I might need a line of credit.....

i thought the same. reminds me of the same move muskoka made a couple releases ago. nice.

i love how this coincides with today's Oscar nominations, since for beer geeks this is more or less the equivalent

Very excited to see the Panil. Great beer.

LCBO seems willing to take a bit of a gamble on this one given the price. I guess if the customer base did not run screaming at the price of the Ola Dubh 40 they thought it might be worth trying again.

Even at that price I will have to pick up another 4-5.

These are the ones I'll be getting a bunch of. Congrats to BT's Mr. Hyde for seeing his springbock recipe adapted by Amsterdam and released at the LC! Too bad you're not here to see it yourself! 720ml is a weird size though... some sort of special packaging?
