Yeah... I know, I should probably do something about it... I guess I'm just jaded now. Same old story.
Its not going to improve if nobody knows its a problem. Its such a stereotypically Canadian thing to just complain later and/or stop shopping at a place, but its not like you can easily boycott a monopoly.

Looks like the Panil is pretty much gone in TO, went to check out the few bottles remaining at Dupont but it was phantom stock.

Just happened to be passing by the LCBO by Yorkdale mall on Friday and decided to duck in to see if there was any Panil to be found. Took a long look around and was about to leave dejected as usual when I turned around to give one last look, and there staring me in the face on a small shelf...were 3 bottles of Panil. Since these are nearly impossible to come by, I hope it wasn't bad form to buy all three. I figured one to drink now, one to cellar and one possibly to trade.

I also snagged 3 of the 4 remaining Panil Barriquee at Morningside. Same deal - want to try one, possibly cellar or trade one or two.

I've been really sick so it's super easy to miss some of these even in GTA.

On Saturday (Mar 26), there was a shelf full (10-12) at the Appleby Line/Upper Middle Rd location in Burlington. They must have discovered a case in a corner, because two days beforehand, the shelf had been empty.

Curious are the ways of LCBO distribution. Grand River Curmudgeon:

Peterborough (pop. 120,000): 334 bottles
Owen Sound (pop. 21,000): 214 bottles
Oakville & Burlington (combined pop. 310,000): 0 bottles
