I originally posted that I read that the new Keith's offerings will be shipped out for draught first to see how they fair and would be worth bottling.

Someone else twisted the meaning...I just went with it!

Hop Mason specifcally is in kegs only. At the time that article was written, Labatt didn't report any plans for bottled Keiths variants. I imagine that if they had had the marketing ready, they certainly would have wanted it pointed out.

It's being released in Newfoundland too, surprisingly, because it coincides with the next "
Beer Thief" beer ordering club order. They're getting Smashbomb, Netherworld, and the Amber from Flying Monkeys for $17.28 a six pack, which is an amazing price for Newfoundland and especially for a really rare (almost unheard of) style like an IPA.
To give an idea of the price, the Matador going to sell for $12.27 per 750ml in NL (minimum of two per order), so considering the 30% markup for the NL market on the other beers this will likely hit the LCBO at $8.60 a bottle (or, more likely $8.95).

The unfiltered Matador (11.4% ABV) was a highlight at the Rhino winter fest this weekend.

Aside - interesting how often Keith's leads me back to the Bar Towel.

That it did. Starting the festival with that beer was probably not the greatest choice.
