my sister is visiting canada from LA. she's in the santa monica area. i've asked here to bring back some lost abbey beer for me. however she doesn't drink beer and said she went to a few places and couldn't find it. i'm not sure what the few places a non-beer drinker would go. any idea where she can get it? i'm also looking for some AleSmith. she doesn't mind driving out of the area to get it. any ideas would be appreciated!! thanks. Be careful with those brewery beer finders. They will lead you to bars as well as stores...obviously the bars don't do bottle sales.

One of my favorite stores to bottle shop at in L.A. is Cap n' Cork. Here's all the info including a map and a link to their website;
