I actually really like Iron Maiden's 'Passchendaele'. Appeals to the WW1 super-geek in me.

Mix 'em up and cook 'em in a pot like gumbo. And seriously, Gordon Lightfoot is crazy underated. Yeah, there's some filler, but the guy has a lot of talent.

Definitely indie rock: The National, Arcade Fire, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Bon Iver, Phoenix. Lots of others.

Although gangsta rap has a special place in my heart.

That is a great tune, especially live when Bruce recites parts of "Anthem for Doomed Youth" as an introduction.

By techno dance music, i mean the mindless gino music that blares out of the Honda Civics of the local college students. Stull like Goldie, Underworld, Aphex Twin, etc. I really like
