Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Indeed. My liver failed twice just looking through the site.TheSevenDuffs wrote:That place looks like beer utopia.Wray77 wrote:Seeing the curmudgeonly selection of good beers makes me so happy I'll be spending two months near http://belmont-station.com/

It is, even the grocery stores have a better selection than summerhill http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/20606/view=beerfly
I'm so tired of going on "beer quests" in this city. I don't have a car, so it's a little awkward carrying a case of Rogue bombers on the ttc. And the only time I lived close to an LCBO it was the tiniest one ever (under loblaws at St. Clair West) but the beer guy was nice enough to ask me what I'd like him to order.
The beer culture here is getting better, slowly, but Volo and the like are like an oasis in the beer desert that is Ontario. /rant

Belmont was pretty awesome. You can drink anything you want in the cafe next door for a slight surcharge. The sandwiches there are surprisingly good for a simple sandwich. Some stuff on tap as well. Have fun!Wray77 wrote:Seeing the curmudgeonly selection of good beers makes me so happy I'll be spending two months near http://belmont-station.com/
