Not bad. The St. Ambroise RIS is the star of the release IMO. Others I will pick up include Monster & Nogne O.
Kinda getting tired of Creme Brulee...

You know the LCBO is really dropping the ball when St. Ambroise is the star of the release.

Lake of bays mocha porter? There is a boat load already in the system. Enough with the smoked oatmeal stout! Its brual and my locals cant give the stuff away. Does Trafalgar have incriminating photos of someone high up with the lcbo?!

Normally I would agree, but the RIS is the exception. It is a fantastic beer and I am going to grab a lot of it...

Disappointed in this release. Nogne O and Monster ale are obviously exciting, but the number of repeats is dismaying. Can probably get a better deal on the Quebec beers in Quebec, so I'll stick to that.

It seems to look very similar to last years release. Im sure a few will be added such as the double chocolate cranberry stout.

Dieu du Ciel! Solstice D'Hiver - 4 x 341ml - Quebec
Those are the only ones that I'll be actively seeking out. A majorly underwhelming release; but then again, disappointment is what the LCBO specializes in. And we
were quite spoiled with the Fall/Halloween/Oktoberfest releases (by Ontario standards at least).

This is funny, some of these are already at my store.
Anyway, not spectacular in terms of the # of products when compared to some of the last few releases. But in terms of quality and cellerable stuff, I'm not terribly disappointed and will pick up a few of those for future drinking.

No Samuel Smith Imperial Stout or St Peter's Cream Stout?
Having said that, I like the Solstice d'Hiver, the Charlevoix, the Jacobit and the Lava and will gladly pick up the Brooklyn and Nogne O bottles as well. Nothing to get blown away by but there is a handful of quality releases.

I predict that the Dominus Vobiscum Double will be the surprise star of the show. It's a great beer fresh, and even better if you leave it for a year.

Not a bad list, but echo the sentiments of some that there are many repeats. I'm excited that these are showing up....next to show up will be the Xmas Gift Packs...hope something new and exciting comes in for those this year.

Good to see that they're starting to get this info out via the website - hope it continues with future releases.
