Artificial flavouring

I'll be doing some steam beers in the coming months based off the Brooklyn Brewshop Spring Lager recipe. I want to have some flavoured beers for the summer but don't want the added effort and variableness of using real fruit yet. So I will be using artificial flavourings that I purchased from the homebrew place out in Brampton. I will likely try the real stuff next year once I'm comfortable with the whole brewing process.
Going from memory I believe it says on the bottle to use 1oz (or thereabout) for five gallons of beer. I will be doing one gallon brews. Scaling it back to 1/5oz would seem appropriate but I wonder how strong the flavouring is. I'd like to have a rather strong flavour than something subtle this year. I want something comparable to KLB Raspberry Wheat and Nickelbrook's Green Apple Pilsner. How much more flavouring would I need to achieve that?
