Great pic!
One of the Labatt's employees in London told me that only used corn syrup now because it was consistent. Apparently there's just too much variety in corn.

I don't think there's too many breweries out there using a cereal cooker. Corn syrup it is!

As far as industrial food products (disturbing term) go, corn syrup has to be one of the largest industries. I expect that their scale of production makes the price unbeatable when it comes to sourcing a fermentable product/process.
I have maintained for some time that there should be two categories of companies: brewers and beverage companies. The more products like lime or ice tea watsits that are more like alcoholic pop or coolers being introduced, the more my sense this definition holds true.
