Haven't been able to reach NB by phone, but anyone know if Bolshevik Bastard is in bottles right now at their store? I'm heading down that way today...

There was some on Sunday Sept 24th. Buy all you can, this is a great beer. Cameron's had some Doppelbock and Sirius Wheat if that's your thing while you are in the neighbourhood.

Are they filling growlers yet? I was by there a few months ago and it was supposed to be running in the summer. Should be all of their regular and specialty brews.

Having one now and it is pretty great stuff - not as viscous as Hellwoods (but almost), and not as hoppy as Tempest (again, close) but if this is a "third place" Imperial Stout, this style is being well served in the GTA.

I was there for a short while on Saturday afternoon and also had one. Very good indeed! If Hellwoods and Tempest are even better, I can hardly wait to try them.

Tempest and Hellwoods strike me as very big in different ways - both very awesome.

What I love about BB, though, is that it seems very classic to me, not an over the top booze or hop bomb, but viscous and hoppy enough to be delicious and perfect with dessert. Just a good classic RIS.
