Price $ 11.80

For those of you who have tried this one, is it worth the money? I quite enjoyed the 12 year, and while I couldn't justify picking up several bottles, I was happy enough to pay $6.15 for a single.

I wouldn't say the 30, for the price, was twice as good as the 12.
I almost shit myself when I saw the price of that. I want it so bad, but could just not bring myself to purchase it myself. If it was a gift, I'd be stoked, but I will not spend that amount on a single 330ml bottle just because it was aged in old barrels.

The 40 yr sold for nearly 70% more... I only imagine rarity increases exponentially the older booze gets, because there's a tendency to consume when ready.

I'll wait for the reviews. I feel that with Beau's beers, if a style is mentioned, it should be in quotes or have an asterisk or something.
Or you could try them out and form your own opinion. Just a thought.
I am not giving up on Beau's but I am cautiously approaching each beer of theirs that I buy now.

it's amazing, I'm in the states right now and Firestone Abacus is 12.99.. Russian River Consecration is 9.99.. It' really setting in - who does Beau's think they are?

There's nothing cautious about $10 a bottle.
Bingo.
Don't get it.
Bottle is $10. So what. They have made some solid beers in the past and I want to continue to support Ontario craft provided its a good product.
Maybe I could have phrased it better.
I am going to be cautiously optimistic when buying as 1) I like the style, 2) I like Beau's stuff, just been disappointed recently.
I've wasted a lot more money on a lot worse beers.
