Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Wow, was that ever a long and frustrating process. Decided to stick with it so I can determine if I prefer maintaining my cellar here rather than in excel.

Holy crap, you guys are impressive. I am not nearly this disciplined. Not even close. When I take a jaunt over the border and stock up on bottles, it's a matter of months before they're consumed. I find myself getting a little too generous with friends and family on a fairly regular basis.

Just added some Jewbelation and Canny Man. Will the Canny Man age well?

Lots of other stuff in the basement, but not necessarily in the cold cellar for aging.

No one really knows (about any beer, ever). There's only one way to find out.

Really? I might give it a shot then. Maybe I will try that tonight. Does CellarHQ have a database of beers and once you pick the beer it populates the "style" column for you or do you have to do that yourself?
There is a tutorial that explains how to format the columns, it pretty much takes in charge the style portion IIRC. Though since it is user entered, you may get some styles here and there that you dont agree with... but then again so does ratebeer.

It's been broken for about a week now. I can still access my cellar and edit things though, which is all I care about. Anything else I try on the site doesn't work/load.

I use it daily, and tonight is the first time I get the broken link.

If it fails, I'll just restart with some other cellar list... a pain, but not a showstopper :)

Is hurting the trade talks tho
