Any news on the bottling front as far as Denison's Weissbier and Scotch Irish Sgt. Major's IPA?

We are getting closer to bottling the Sgt. Major's. We are ready to submit for LCBO approval. After that, the boxes and labels must be produced and then I have to convince the individual LCBO stores that they sould list my beer. Time frame, well I once told you it would happen by October of last year so...lets just say its coming along nicely.

As far as Denison's Weissbier goes, I've had a supply of bottles lined up, label design and printing quotations all ready to go since July. Unfortunately, I was at times not able to keep up with demand for draught alone, so bottling would have been out of the question. Since mid-September my beer shortage has resolved itself, but Mill Street still does not have the capability to run any large quantity of bottles other than the 195ml Organic. (Their 341ml stubbies and 650ml Oktoberfest are being filled by hand). I will not get into bottling until I can be assured of a plentiful supply of beer and reliable automated filling and labelling capability. Mill Street's facilities are being taxed to the limit by their own needs and my draught production, so I have been investigating other options for over two months. I'm working on a solution as fast as I can but at the moment of writing the ball is out of my hands. I will probably end up doing local draught production at Mill Street and bottling elsewhere, but I cannot tell you when that will be - I'd be guessing.

Just a thought... Hopefully you are considering the fact that a standard weizen glass is about 500ml. So I guess any bottle size close to that would work out nicely.

I'm looking forward to both of these. Since it will be limited LCBO's for (presumably) both, does this mean that I'll be able to special order them at my local LCBO?

re: Denison's Weissbier, I'd agree with Manul on the ~500ml bottle size 100%.

500ml is a natural, and has always been my #1 choice, but there are a couple of problems with that size, one serious, which I'll get into later.

Bombers it is then. Nothing wrong with 22oz bottles.
