If there are any bars or breweries reading the forum, we're happy to announce that registration has started for Toronto Beer Week 2013. Please see below all the details to participate, and the links to register online.
---------
The first long weekend of spring is officially past, which of course means that it's time to start planning for fall (bummer) and get signed up for TBW2013 (hooray)!
This year, Toronto Beer Week will run from Friday, September 13th to Saturday, September 21st. We're excited to build on the successes of the past three years to bring you a "week" of craft beer that's the biggest and best yet. We've even planned an exclusive Meet & Greet event for venues and brewers at The Rhino on Tuesday, April 16th from 4pm - 6pm. Come out and meet the TBW team, network with brewers and venues, find out how to maximize the impact of your event and discover how our marketing team can help you increase sales during TBW2013. Look out for more details coming soon!
In the meantime, here are some of the basics to get you started:
I'm new. What's Toronto Beer Week?
When we started Toronto Beer Week in 2010 we had dreams that it would grow into something that not only celebrated craft beers and the great bars that serve them but that would also bring people out to places they’ve never been before to raise a pint with friends.
In 2012 we expanded our “week” to nine days, grew to 47 bars, restaurants and pubs, included 28 great craft breweries and importers representing hundreds of different beers, and hosted over 126 different events all with the support of thousands of craft beer drinkers. We’ve come a long way in a short amount of time and it’s only going to get bigger and better from here. We'd love it if you'd join us.
This year, we're looking forward to another exciting lineup of events, participation from a wide variety of drinking establishments and a robust selection of craft beer. Toronto Beer Week has something for everyone, whether they're an experienced beer aficionado, or a beginner looking to explore new neighbourhoods.
