anyone using this? How does it compare to CellarHQ?

It's very similar in many ways to CellarHQ and is as nice and easy to use. What I do like about The Beer Cellar is that all beers have links back to Beer Advocate, instead of relying on a user to input the beer details, which are missing on a lot of CellarHQ beers.

Josh, the designer of Beer Cellar is open to ideas to expand and enhance his design.

I actually use this more than CellarHQ now, as it's easier to add/subtract beers.

How easy/difficult was it to move your cellar information from Cellar HQ to this site?

From memory it was simple; CSV file, import and match the names in the database. Just takes a little time for beers that aren't already entered. I had a hiccup as I was one of the first users where some of my cellar didn't import for one reason or other, but it was sorted pretty quick.
