Any one else interested? Or if you're in the retail business heard if this is coming anywhere near here?

I should be getting a few bottles next month

As far as distribution goes, Robinson's isn't represented in Canada, as far as I know. I've seen Old Tom across the border, but not here.

I am a huge Maiden fan and would definitely 'die with my boots on' to get some.

I couldn't read the deets. What kinda beer is it? I'm used to robbinsons one offs all being bitters.

It's a premium bitter/pale ale. From the blurb:
" Malt flavours and citric notes from a unique blend of Bobec, Goldings and Cascade hops dominate this deep golden ale with a subtle hint of lemon. "

If I can't get a pint, I at least want one of those glasses.
(And Mr. Dickenson is looking remarkably distinguished these days. Anyone remember his appearance on "Toronto Rocks"?)

I'd go "where eagles dare" for a couple of bottles. Anyone actually bringing this in?

Youtube
Yes the band - in their fifties - still play well at the 'young man's game' of very loud, full-on rock concerts... and I guess Bruce has a good 'colorist' when he's touring to appear less 'distinguished' (video cameras are very unforgiving of graying hair.)

Hanson debut MmmHops beer at Hangover III premiere
Pop group Hanson debuted their new beer at The Hangover Part III post-premiere party in Los Angeles this past week.
The MMMBop hitmakers handed out bottles of MmmHops, which the stars helped create with brew masters at a craft brewery in their native Oklahoma, and they found a fan in funnyman Ed Helms.

This is the Iron Maiden
song for which the beer is named.

Awesome.
On a private deal thing, or is the LCBO going to remove the stick that's up the ass of the stick that's up its ass and put it on the shelves?
You know, social responsibility and all should keep a guy like Eddie off the shelves.
Belgian: That's the best version of that song I've ever heard.

You see this? This is when craft beer jumped the shark.

Trooper is currently being shipped from the warehouse to the stores. The only stores showing stock at the moment are Summerhill and Bradford.
Should be in many more stores by the end of the week.

Oddly enough, sort of reminiscent of Darkstar Hophead. It's that Cascade/English malt thing.
