The Bar Towel

File under things you did not know you needed, there are now beer-flavoured potato chips (PC brand @ Loblaws). Also margarita-flavoured.

The beer chips weren't too bad. Kettle style chips. First taste was little better than a day-old glass of Old Milwaukee, but after that they grew on me, starting to taste a lot like malt vinegar but without too much vinegar acidity. Bonus was that my kids would not eat them.

I picked up a bag on a lark when I saw them at the store. Sold on the fact that "beer" was actually an ingredient.

I didn't like them very much - they really did taste like beer, but the crappiest Canadian pale lager you could think of. There's a reason I don't drink that anymore

Had them on Saturday. Beer-ish, I guess. I won't be buying them again.

The Ballpark potato chips were tasty

Are they using their own beer, because that might not create a great end result.
