CALLING ALL HOME BREWERS!

Toronto's Indie Alehouse brewery and brewpub along with small-batch, home-brew events organizer, Brauhaus, are teaming up on one of the first-ever Home-Brewer Total Tap Takeovers in Canada as part of Toronto Beer Week.

There are 12 taps to fill — and the search is on for the best, most enthusiastic local home brewers to participate. Up to 14 home brewers will be selected to bring their own recipe and brew one of their beers on Indie Alehouse’s home brew pilot system and have their beer served on September 17, in the brewpub.

Application forms and more details on the event can be found here: http://brauhausto.com/BrauhausTO/Indie_ ... EOVER.html

I think it officially starts at 6...at least that's what the brauhaus folks told us. I'll be there somewhere between 5:30-6:00, depending on how long my transit odyssey takes.

going if there isn't a line-up.
too many good brewers (Zach Anderson, Peter Caira to name 2) to miss it.
hoping it won't be nuts at 8

i'm guessing it'll be at least a little nuts early. most of these are small batches that are bound to sell fast, but hopefully with it being limited to samples/flights they'll hold up that long.

had a blast at the event at Indie last night. it got a bit nuts, and the staff got a bit overwhelmed by everyone wanting a million samplers, but it was a good time. switching to half pints half way through the night may have been a bad idea, but goddamn were they tasty.
