Hamilton's The Ship released Ship's Rations tonight

The latest batch of Hamilton's only craft beer brewed and sold locally was released tonight. The launch of this batch of The Ship's nano-production of Ship's Rations was done without much fanfare, but those of us who follow them on twitter got a heads-up. I headed straight there, and happily it was not sold out! (Unlike the night of the release of the 1st batch, gone in a heartbeat!)
This IPA has so much to like. Ginger and molasses are in the brew, and the ginger comes through without being overpowering. The hop-forward style is obvious, but doesn't dominate. I'd guess it's about 5%-6% abv.
Great to have local craft beer production in this city. For those of you with local breweries this would be no big deal, but in Hamilton it's a big deal!
