Atlanta, GA ( suburbs )

In Atlanta for a week; Staying downtown, where there's nothing happening, beer wise.
I searched out good bars that were close to MARTA ( rapid transit ) stations.
Here's where I've been so far:
DECATUR Station
This is a very nice area, with lots of restaurants and patios
Craft beer heaven, all within steps of the station.
Almost on top of the station is the Decatur Square, with these pubs:
The Brick Store Pub http://www.brickstorepub.com/home/
-great atmosphere and selection, including a Belgian draft bar and cellar upstairs
-had Port Mongo IPA here
The Square Pub http://squarepubdecatur.com/
- another cozy pub with Tex/Mex menu and 15-20 taps
Raging Burrito http://www.ragingburrito.com/rburrito/
- Burrito / Quesadilla place with 20 or so taps, including the entire Sweetwater line
Just around the corner, at Church St & Ponce de Leon Blvd, is
Leon's Full Service http://www.leonsfullservice.com/
-This is a converted gas station, also with a great atmosphere and selection
Further on down Ponce de Leon is Taco Mac, with about 100 U.S. craft taps - think your local sports bar with craft beer
Just south of the station at Church St & Trinity Pl. is Twain's Billiards and Taps http://www.twains.net/
brewpub with pool tables, shuffle board - interesting place
Beer was very good - food is burgers ( beef / turkey ) and sandwiches
INMAN PARK Station
10 -15 minute walk to these 2 great spots:( Little 5 Points neighbourhood )
At Moreland and Dekalb:
The Wrecking Bar http://www.wreckingbarbrewpub.com/
-Brewpub in the cellar of a Victorian-era building
Great beer and an interesting pub menu
at Moreland and Euclid:
The Porter Beer Bar http://www.theporterbeerbar.com/
-Long and narrow, with a huge selection of draft and bottles as well as cellar
My favourites for look and feel have been The Brick Store, Leon's and The Wrecking Bar.
It's been a great trip for beer, so far
