It worked with Ommegang, which is about a quarter the size.

I'm hoping for Boulevard in upstate NY first.

Would love me some Tank 7 four packs.

Viral. And I hate the word.

Oh my - that article - the trans-Atlantic collaborations and the spreading global interest... just, wow. This thing has only begun.

It isn't even like wine which depends on matching very specific, suitable regions with successful varietals, it's much more global.

Talking to the guys who rep Ommegang & Duvel in Alberta on Friday night, and they mentioned Boulevard WILL be coming soon.

Sign of the future maybe, cross-Atlantic partnerships between smaller and small rather than ongoing purchase of craft breweries by the megas. Makes sense for the mid-size British breweries to get into this. In fact, one did, Vaux, it bought the now-closed Fred Koch of nearby Dunkirk, NY back in the 70's IIRC. Koch made its excellent porter for a time, until the early mid-80's. Vaux was ahead of its time...

Gary, VAUX may well have been ahead of their time, but there fall into extinction should be a warning to others about how not to spread yourself to thin in chasing big money!
