My five right now:
Hill Farmstead - There's a reason I stock up anytime I head down or know when somebody else is visiting. Had an Everett the other night - absolutely fantastic
Bellwoods - My somewhat local "go to" - Probably drank more Roman Candle than anything the past few months
Great Lakes - Need more Tank 10 IPA from these guys - I don't care which one, I'm not picky.
Prairie - Everything I have had from these guys has been absolutely solid.
Firestone Walker - I always seem to bring back a few bottles of their regular lineup everytime I cross the border into Buffalo.

This is pretty much my list, but I would find a way to work either Russian River or Three Floyds in to my list (probably in place of Great Lakes).

Maine Brewing Company: I really love the range of hoppy beers these guys make. Lunch, Zoe, Peeper, and MO are all great examples of subtle, well used hops.
Firestone Walker: I've always enjoyed the range of beer from these guys. Seem to make my favourite of whatever American style they brew. Their session IPA is my favourite of that much maligned style.
Bellwoods: Probably my favourite brewery. I think since they've opened I've only missed a couple of their beers. Not many breweries that I can say that about!

Cantillon: Because I cannot, not buy it if I see it!

I'm just going to stick to readily available beers for me, because of course 3f and hill farmstead would be tops but they both take some effort to grab. This top 5 is what I have easy access to in Niagara.
(No order)
Bellwoods - they do a range of styles well and have great bottle artwork/branding which is sorely missing with most Canadian breweries.
5 paddles - again, most styles they put out are at least good if not great and I love that they are constantly evolving and changing. And bonus points for putting effort into their new labels.
Victory - I love dirt wolf and have been impressed with most of their line up.
Southern tier/ the good Great Lakes (USA) - 2xone was a great beer this year and I rarely find a miss from their lineup. I love nosferatu and blackout stout. Both breweries are easy to find fresh as well which helps.
Laguintas - haven't had a bad beer from them and usually easy to find fresh. Love sucks and undercover shutdown.
Surprising omissions to me. Nicklebrook (I love immodest and malevolent but the rest of their lineup is meh and those are only out in the spring), Firestone (honestly they could have made the list but I find their IPAs usually stale around here so I pass on most of their year round lineup), Sierra Nevada (I always buy these guys, but I guess they are just steady and never mind blowing), silversmith (getting better and getting a diverse lineup, this year could see them jump on the list).

Last ones a toss up looking at things "recently", but those barrel aged TDD beers I've had were damn good so I'll go with them.
Lucky to have a few VT trips recently, and a steady supply of Cantillon and Bellwoods.
