Equivalent to about 40 bottles of your average light beer. Cool collector item.

I don't know how I would even (or accurately) pour it.

I bought one of those in Quebec years and years ago as a novelty drink for a New Year's Eve party. I might still have the bottle & the wooden box somewhere in the basement :)

at dark lord day back in '07 or '08, a trading buddy from MN had a 6L that he was pouring one handed. they grow 'em big over there. Coincidentally (since he was also a Jeff), I'm betting Mr Broeders from indie would have no trouble with this.

largest thing i've dealt with personally was a 3L stone from back when they only did the oaked arrogant bastard in that size. easiest approach was just leaving the base on the counter and tipping.

Clearly the bottle is 'hand poured' meaning you just snap you fingers and they come and do it all for you.

I don't know if it is Jerry or Sylvain who arrive at your door on command, but I don't really care as they are just "the help."

I saw a lady walking with an LCBO guy and cart with one of these walking from Summerhill this afternoon. Curious if she was heading to the subway or a nearby building or what.

Excuse me, they hand-painted bottles for Unibroue?

Here's me standing with the ones I picked up today. Ah no I'm kidding, this guy painted them:

Sweet....sadly the 17 won't be coming to Ontario in the big bottle. If I could get my hands on a Trois Pistoles in such a bottle one day, that would make me happy.
