Re: Barncat Artisan Ales, Cambridge

Sad news. Sorry to hear it Matt, I've never had a Barncat product I didn't enjoy. You guys did a great job.

Your eyes didn't deceive you. I enjoyed one on the weekend. A classy Ontario made pilsner.

Re: Detroit

I was just in Detroit for an extended weekend, figured this thread could use dusting off. Breweries: Detroit have a few, but honestly they're not as saturated as most places are these days. I gather that's changing in time. Faisan was the standout place for me. They're pretty new and still finding ...

Re: beer (alcohol) and health

Please share any examples of beers you've tried that were between 0.5-3% ABV that 'scratched the itch'... The Big Drop stout was somewhat convincing to me. According to Ratebeer there are low alcohol beers that are far more than just passable. For example.. https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/miloslaw-bez...

The Ireland brewed extra stout as well as the coffee nitro stout are in stock. Presumably some kind of St. Patrick's Day promotion.

Thanks for the heads up lister. My wife broke the one I got with a 6-pack of the Boston Lager a couple years ago. I was in th...
