Re: Bar Volo 2.0
I also like being able to see tap lists online but not going somewhere just because the tap list is not posted sounds... like an over reaction. Personally I can't imagine arriving at either Volo location and not finding a single beer I was willing to drink for at least a round or two, but these days...

Author John Scalzi is a big proponent of hosting your own website. You can share that widely but if / when the latest social media site dies you still have a home for your stuff. This was especially true when Facebook started extorting content creators to either pay a fee or lose access to a lot of ...

Re: Burdock Brewing
I was curious if that was some kind of a licensing requirement or if Burdock just decided not to have consumption on site in that space.

Re: Can prices going up due to tariffs
Part of the problem is if you asked the average person right now if they would pay an extra 5 or 10 cents a can to support a brewery using a Canadian can manufacturer people would cheer it. Six months ago, most people wouldn't have. In fairness, it's not like there is a little sticker on the cans ex...

Re: LCBO & the Trade Wars
Personally I am hopeful that this prompts people to take a closer look at the sources and ethics of all of their purchases, not just alcohol. Not holding my breath on that actually happening, but I am hopeful.

Re: Windsor-Essex County Beer Enthusiasts, Unite!
Been to several of these a few years ago but many were COVID visits where I was avoiding sitting inside. Cured Craft (Leamington) - Nice-ish spot, we mostly stuck to the patio for our visit. Food was decent, I remember the beer more kindly than my tasting notes do. Top Dog (Ruthven) - Do they have a...
