Another observation of mine: had this thread been started a year ago, you likely would have seen Flying Monkeys on a lot of top 5 lists. Now they barely even get a mention at #5 on most of these lists. In my opinion, FM really took a step backwards last year and I hope we see better things from the...

Mine tasted fine. Not ridiculously hoppy but I enjoyed as much as most of the IPAs we get here in Ontario.

Also I bought some in Buffalo last weekend, and I thought the stuff I bought at the LC tasted better. That being said didn't see a bottle date on either one.

Had their Porter last night at Volo and thought that it was really good, quite flavourful. Really looking forward to trying some of their other beers, seems like they could have a good thing going.

Had a really good time at this event. Great Lakes Same Ol'Citra Saison Great Lakes Heavy Bretting Great Lakes No Chance for Miranda House Ales Alexanderplatz All were enjoyable but the highlight for me was definitely the GL Citra Saison. Really nice beer and hope to be able to find it again at some ...

Had a bottle of Double Dead Guy that I managed to get recently, then pulled out a bottle of Sam Adams Imperial Double Bock because I was sure that DDG tasted similar, and sure enough it did. Both were quite good.

I've always found Au Coin Duluth to be excellent. Prices seem to be a little better than some of the other places, and they always seem to have some of the rarer stuff a little bit longer (I guess because it's lesser known?).

I believe I read somewhere that the IPA is a brand new offering, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Devil's Pale Ale.

In reference to above, I now prefer this to Hoptical Illusion, Black Oak Pale and Tankhouse. It really has become something great in my opinion.

You guys just made the beer sound like its been tweaked for the worse.
I read the posts above three times and I still can't find where you read that.
The Banana flavours come from esters, I believe.

Longo's: Maple Leaf Square

Don't know if any one has ever checked out the Longo's grocery store across from the ACC. But beside from being a decent grocery store they actually have a bar inside with some decent craft beer. I was there the other week with my dad and they had Grand River Plowmans, Black Oak Pale Ale, a Granite ...

I picked up 2 bottles today from the Kingston store. They hadn't even opened the box up yet when I got there, so there might be hope for a bit more stock to show up still.
