Loving all these suggestions!
There are a LOT of Ontario breweries I haven't visited yet, so it is quite possible I'll keep it more local, but we'll see...

Where would you go for 4 or 5 days?
Wondering what beer destinations are on people's radar these days.
I will likely do a little road trip in October or November for up to 5 days.
Either drive from Toronto and back, or fly somewhere and rent a car to drive back to Toronto.

Re: Utopia 2024
I only recall the free glass offer from one year around 10-12 years back?
Last time I bought one there was no free glass.
As nice as that glass was, even if they offered one this time it is no longer in my price range.

Re: Beer in Convenience Stores coming early
Meh.
Maybe if I'm in the middle of nowhere on a camping trip this will become beneficial.
Serious question though - how often do you actually shop at convenience stores anyways? I tend to avoid them, and their stupid high prices, except at gas stations about once a month.

Re: General LCBO Debate & Discussion Thread
Oh that's a big price increase form last time we had it.
I thought it might be around $150.
Too rich for me! Bought a couple different bottles years ago when they were around $120 I think.

Re: St. John's, Newfoundland
Was also in Newfoundland earlier this summer, and echo that Bannerman seemed tops. Our hotel was right across from them, and the Brewdock bar, so that was convenient ;) I made it out to Port Rexton Brewery, past Trinity on the way to Elliston, and really enjoyed the small-town country vibe there, wi...

Re: Non-Alcoholic Beer
Ya I've ordered off Sober Sips. Plenty of online shops out there. Each seems to have maybe 1 or 2 that other shops don't have, so you need to look around a bit. There are a bunch of NA beers in Ottawa area that I want to try, but Knyota Drinks only carries one of them. I currently have a bit too man...

Re: Toronto Brew Pass from Destination Toronto
Sounds similar to that old craft beer passport that was around some years ago? Took a look. Most breweries are good offers. The two Left Field locations include the same beer (Ice Cold Beer), which seems silly... Granite is only a 10oz pour, whereas GLB is 2x 12oz pours. Details: https://explore.des...

Re: Non-Alcoholic Beer
Harmon's has been putting out a bunch of seasonal/limited edition non-alcs the past while, and Henderson and Rainhard both have new ones.
Planning to stick mostly to non-alcs in July and will report back on any new favourites.

Sober-ish fest - Bevvy's and Henderson
We had the No-Lo fest at the Only Cafe some months ago...and it seems we're getting another (mostly) non-alcoholic beers fest in July.
This one has a $20 ticket price.

Re: Third Moon Brewing
Noticed they released about 10 beers for their anniversary this past week, with some already sold out. Does anyone else have a weird completionist mentality like me, and if you can't get them all, you skip them all? ALL OR NOTHING! :D I think it saves me lots of money in the end. Another example is ...

Re: Non-Alcoholic Beer
Town Brewery has a couple of non-alcoholic brews out now.
Going to bike out that way next week to pick them up and give them a try.
Side Launch apparently has one now too.

Very nice. A handful of brews I'm wanting to try.
A bit surprised some more of the classics aren't there, considering there is a mix-pack of cans at The Beer Store these days. (The only thing I ever buy there, lol)

Ah that is cool about the bottles to go option.
A nice way to stash a few special beers then. I would be more inclined to do that.
Sounds like it was a fun event for those who went!
