On a different note, I noticed the St. Bernardus Wit in a couple LCBO's in a 4-pack. I had never had this and loved it. It has a delicious minerality which reminds me of a gose in style. Very interesting for me, and I hadn't seen it mentioned here. [/quote] I also had my first St Berny wit, last ni...

The Dark Helmut is a nice beer....one of the few Beaus that I've enjoyed. Last year i bought the octoberfest pack and split it with someone, cost-wise. We shared each bottle.....didn't seem like quite so much of a rip off, but not sure i'd do it again.

I see a lot of people are high on spirit tree.
Personally I didn't like it, but I've only ever bought one 4-pack
Seemed too expensive, for not being that good IMO. But perhaps I should try again.

Your top 10 favourite/regular buys at lcbo/tbs

Just throwing this out there, to see if there are any gems that I may be overlooking. Not necessarily just Ontario stuff. So basically, just stuff that's readily available to most people...ie: not one-offs,stuff available from only the brewery etc. For me, it's probably something like this....althou...

I can guarantee you that there's none in Guelph, i've been looking for the Saison each time I go into any one of the 4 stores. Luckily enough I have 2 saisons and one cervasia in the cellar.

Sitting here drinking a Junction Brakemans session ale. I completely agree with Gary's thoughts under the review page. Nice easy drink that's quintessentially english. I like it far more than the Conductors ale. Last night, a Rocheforte 10, my first ever one, been sitting on it for almost a year. Al...
