LCBO Beer Carriers

Lately been noticing a lack of the 8pk beer carriers at the LCBO. Talked to one of the Collingwood people and they said that they are being phased out. Something to do with cost and recycling

Guess i better start saving them.

Red Cap - Stubby

Noticed today that Red Cap is now in a standard bottle as opposed to the stubby. I though Red Cap was marketed on this premise, and Brick went through a lot of hassle to sell it that way. Why the change all of the sudden. Is the stubby en route to a second extinction?

I typically just stop in at the Wegmans in Orchard Park before the game. it's along the way so it's very convenient. Lately it seems like more microbrews are hitting their shelves.

Will be there this Sunday cheering on the BILLS!

Leifmans Frambois, Overaged??

Just came across a bottle of Leifmans Frambois that i must have stored a good while back. It was stored in a cupboard in my basement, so it was kept in the dark and relatively cool. Would it still be OK. Would appreciate the heads up before i open it

Thanks

Right now, enjoying a Stevens Point Brewery Oktoberfest (Marzen Style) from Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Picked this one up in Ames, Iowa a couple of weeks ago.

Really enjoying all of the different beer produced by US breweries. We need more of these right here.

Saw a case and 3/4 sitting on the floor there today, also had the Adnams right beside it. Collingwood does have a pretty decent selection and usually lasts long enough for me to make the trip up. It also had the Sam Adams summer ale here earlier this year, i don't recall seeing this one in many plac...
