The Bar Towel

I go to the same rental cottage each year. I need to drink out of some sort of beer vessel, so rather than risk breaking a glass or two in transit or on site, I take my indestructible Paulaner stein. Wheat beer, pilsner, dark ale, stout - everything tastes good in it.

Korbinian was the best beer I ever bought - years ago - at Premier. When I was there in October I asked the guys about it and they didn't know what I was talking about.

Early last summer when the last branded wheat beer glass was stolen Allen's took to serving the Barvarian delight in scratched up nonicks. That's not a good combination.

Yeah some bars will sell you a glass(or you could just take it ;)...)... I know you're kidding, but please don't steal glasses. I just want to thank you, Pootz, for the tip about the Castle. I went last week and sampled from the Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest, Mill Race Mild, Fuller's London Pride, and Warsteiner Dunkel.

Next time I go it'll be an all-weiss exerience.
