The Bar Towel

This is a timely conversation as Collective Arts very recently offered to send me a set of their canned non-alc beers and cocktails to consider for content. When I get those I’ll definitely post up back here.

So it’s been so long that my trademark came up for renewal this year after 15 years (!).

I’m happy to report that we’re still The Bar Towel [TM] for another 10 years. Not sure if anyone was coming after us but just might as well be safe

Yeah, I think I crammed too much in this video. I think it's better for future ones to have a bit fewer places and a bit more detail, so they aren't as rushed.

Well, I knew it would happen that somewhere I visited in one of these videos would close. It seems that Rock Bottom closed the doors this week. Can't say I'm surprised, it's a bit of a relic from a previous beer era, but still an OK place in downtown Chicago where there isn't much in the way of good...

Thanks for these updates Gary! I haven't been to France in many years, before the current craft beer revolution hit. There wasn't much back then but still a memorable visit for all the other reasons that makes France great. I'm not sure why the pictures show up sideways in the thread as when I click...
