Re: What's Your Favourite Ontario West Coast IPA?
Boneshaker is $80 for a 24 at TBS, $3.33 a can, not bad for a great 7%er!Since newer West Coast IPAs are so few and far between I have been going back to the classics. Boneshaker in particular really hits the mark for me, as I love the heavier malt body combined with the hop bite.

I’ve also recently revisited Ransack after years away. I love it again like I used to. They had 4-packs at superstore for $14 until I cleaned them out eventually

Re: Breweries closing and/or restructuring and/or bought out
Rumours have it that the Furnace Room Brewery in Georgetown has been sold to the Keenan’s Irish Pub chain. They have never had in-house food service at the brewery so I would think that this will lead to Keenan’s serving food there, and brewing beer to be served in the pubs. In recent months Furnace...

Re: Collective Arts
Ransack used to be my go-to IPA. Now I rarely buy it except to re-try it to see if it’s as good as it used to be. It never is.
I even had a saying “you can’t go wrong with a Ransack”

As far as beer quality Ransack used to be my go-to. I used to say ‘can’t go wrong with a ransack’. Now I rarely drink it because it’s not the same.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
GLB has a variety four-pack of karmas sabro, citra, cryo, and geddon. I picked up a couple at the LCBO, I thought it may have been a brewery exclusive, so that was a nice surprise. And was glad to see it wasn’t citra, Simcoe and two others, it was citra and three others, including the Citrageddon 8...

Re: Surprisingly good beer from TBS
Definitely need to check IPA dates. The Sweetwater doesn’t have a canned date, but a best before of Aug 26/23. Hopefully they have a good definition of best before

Surprisingly good beer from TBS
In an effort to cut down my beer costs, with a lot of Ontario beers at the LCBO approaching $4 a can, I looked at the Beer Store website and found a few good bargains. For $85 I got 30 tallcans ($2.83 per can) consisting of 6 Boneshaker, 6 Paulaner Salvator, 6 Sweetwater IPA, all rated near 90 on Ra...

Wow I can’t believe i started this thread over 5 years ago! I was lucky. A coworkers farm backs onto theirs so I heard about them at the beginning. I still make it up to their farm in Cheltenham 3 or 4 times a year
