Ha! These two would be on my list of “don’t recall hearing of them before”.

This seems pretty reasonable.

Re: Where would you go for 4 or 5 days?
Loving all these suggestions! There are a LOT of Ontario breweries I haven't visited yet, so it is quite possible I'll keep it more local, but we'll see... I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that there's a number of nice breweries in London, and a few in Windsor. It would be an easy trip to go from ...

Re: The Beer Store Changes Pricing Displays
I’d have to try and find and check old receipts to be sure, but when I’ve ordered direct from breweries, I’m sure sometimes the listed price was the price, and sometimes HST was added on. There’s pros and cons to each method. I’m conflicted about which one I prefer, but mostly I want consistency.

Re: Beer in Convenience Stores coming early
The only thing I ever use convenience stores for is ice a couple of times a year. I’m not fundamentally against beer in these stores, but it’s no benefit to me. Since my teacher is chronically underpaid and my school is falling apart and I can no longer go shoot up in safety, this is probably a goo...

Your post and the ones above give some reasons NOT to go. But let’s put those aside and assume I’d like to go for whatever reason.

Re: Godspeed 7th Anniversary Weekend
Well Tapsucker , I guess we've been told. :) Funny. When I go on the site a pop up links to the facebook event page with all the details. It's public so there's no account required to crib details. Either way, if you can find it in your heart not to discount an entire brewery because of how 1 event'...

Re: Godspeed 7th Anniversary Weekend
I am disappointed that their website only mentions that there is an event, but no other details. Presumably their instacrap account has the details like who the collaborators are. It annoys me when businesses use that tactic to tell non social media users that they are not welcome. Would it be so h...

Re: What're you drinking right now?
Do you (or others) feel 'freshness' matters so much with a stout? I know it can make a difference with hoppy beers, but I've never thought there was much concern with other styles.sofakingdrunk wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 12:31 am Goodlot-Top of the morning stout..... canning date, November ‘23

Re: General LCBO Debate & Discussion Thread
I made sure to pop in a couple of days ago to get a couple of bottles of wine and a bottle of that Lambiek Fabriek to try. But really, even the LCBO offers free shipping now, which is staying open during the strike. I wonder how much of an impact it will have on LCBO sales? Our beer view is one thi...
