Hmmm. Makes me think of PEC in Ontario. Did you find things generally expensive?

Collective Arts Bourbon Barrel Age Imperial Porter

I thought I might have had this for a couple of years, but the packaging date on the bottom of the can is 2021 August. Time flies.

It's really good. Wish they would make it again.

Re: The Exchange Brewery

It's been a long time since someone posted here. My wife and I were in NOTL yesterday and ended up having drinks and dinner here. In reading through all the previous posts, there were complaints about high prices. I would say it's still probably the case, but they have a lot of very different offeri...

I don't follow the Belgium beers too closely, but $12.95 for a 750 mL bottle strikes me as being quite a deal.

Re: Anyone get a beer advent calendar?

I had never paid much attention to the delivery side, save that no one, but no one, waits around for a signature from an individual of 19 years or older LOL, you got that right. but now I have learned this version is delivered by Canada Post and as a result of the strike it will be delayed, unless ...

Re: Beer at Ontario Costcos

Just saw this. “ The Burlington Costco at 1225 Brant is now selling 60 packs of Coors Light, for $84.99.” It’s only a deal if you want the product. I do not. The same article said “Other beers on sale at the Brant location include Stella Artois, Landshark, Bud Light, and Steam Whistle.” I like Steam...

Re: Anyone get a beer advent calendar?

If it's purely about being sure of getting beer you want, then you would not go for an Advent calendar. Buying one brings the fun of having a mystery beer, with upside risk of getting things you like and perhaps couldn't get otherwise, and downside risk of getting something you don't like. For me, t...

Re: Anyone get a beer advent calendar?

So here we are at that time of year again, and once again I am contemplating getting a beer Advent calendar. Never have before, mostly because I always have a lot of beer on hand anyway and never feel the need to gamble on 24 more. Might do it this year. I've received emails from Collective Arts, La...

Spent our Thanksgiving weekend in Lancaster, Pa which is about 40 minutes southwest of Harrisburg, so I'll post comments here. In the recently revised thread "Around the World Beer Trip...where would you go?" , a few people have differentiated a beer-focused trip vs a trip where you seek o...

Ha! These two would be on my list of “don’t recall hearing of them before”.
