Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). While not pulitzer material, a quick perusal of some of her other articles indicates that the Mill St. article was not one of her best. Perhaps one too many Mill St. products were tested for quality prior to writing?

Am finally heading down this afternoon to Castro's, will post comments later. What happened to the websites for Sarah's and Castro's? I couldn't get either of them to load.

So what other tasty treats should we expect this year? Beers of the World usually has at least one new thing for me (Is that Esprit?) and there is usually at least one new booth. I will be there late Friday and all day Sunday and have started to ponder my strategy. Friday I hope to get to a lot of n...

Your right that soccer isn't especially local, but it does have strong associations with pubs and beer culture.

It was a fluff piece but as fluff pieces go it wasn't bad. The first two paragraphs seemed a bit odd... space filler maybe? short a few words?

Well, after perusing the BarTowel report on Montreal brewpubs, and drooling over the link Lubiere posted I am looking forward to a trip to Montreal. Probably not till September or October though (I have to see how some other things sort themselves out). Im hoping to bring the gf and a few more guys ...

As someone pointed out to me, if you have a copy of the magazine, note how many of the bottles on the cover also have print ads inside. That said I was pleased with most of them, and obviously suprised by some of them. It almost makes me want to do a blind taste test on some of them to see what I wo...

So it occurred to me that my one and only trip to PG was almost three years ago, and I am itching for another beer road trip. I have decided that my options are Montreal and PG. Economically it make more sense to go to Montreal (I think) since I won't get dinged for the taxes and what not on the way...

Has anyone heard what the status of the Port of Whitby and Simcoe Steam breweries is? Have they started brewing yet? Will they be at the Toronto Festival of Beer?

My girlfriend brought this back for me from Belgium months ago and I finally got around to drinking it last night. A very nice tripel. The alcohol content was superbly hidden amongst the flavour. A bit sweet almost. I would recommend it if you get the chance. I am now even more eager to try their ot...

I was perusing Rubaiyats product list and there are a couple I would like to try but I only want a bottle or two. Anyone want to trade me a bottle?
The ones I am most interested in are Abbaye Des Rocs, Delerium Tremuns, and St. Pauls Double.
