Not surprising. I was in a brewdog bar in Edinburgh in March .... And I believe, with conversion, pints were almost $8. I was quite surprised at the price, being that it is their own product and the fact that it doesn't have to travel very far from the brewery.

Sipping on my last Founders Backwood bastard from last years release. Excellent stuff, great slow sipper for a night like this. It's a bit of a bourbon-bomb to me....and i'm not a bourbon fan, but this is great.

Well, at Queen and Coxwell LCBO there's a big display of Mikkeller beers sitting like a boat anchor. Nobody.… is... buying it. That should've been on discount weeks ago IMO. it's not getting any younger. Same story in the two Guelph stores that have it. Lots of stock of everything, besides the black.

Very good. Big hoppy nose, nicely balanced roasty-bitter flavours, smooth, full and creamy palate, no trace of alcohol. They know what they're doing! :D
Good to hear, I loved the Porter

I bought the robbie burns whisky about 2 years ago.....still have one finger or so left. I believe each year is different, but the one I have is a very mild single malt. Really smooth and easy drinking, but also really forgettable. Probably worth the $40-45 i paid for it, but i'd view it as an intro...

X-mas dinner

Curious, as to what everyone's planning on drinking with x-mas dinner. I'm thinking of taking a bottle of Dupont Bons Veoux and a Unibroue ephemere cranberry over to family dinner.

Unibroue 17 price

Anybody bought any of these this year? I picked up a few bottles last week, and I'm pretty sure the price has dropped from last year. I'm sure it was around $13 per bottle previously, but this year is under 10. Wondering if this is a mistake by the lcbo
