I recall seeing somewhere that the dates were followed now by a "1" or a "2" to indicate whether it was brewed in California (1) or Chicago (2). October 11, 2016 is 8.5 months away -- surely Lagunitas can't think that their IPA can have a shelf life of much longer than that...? :o

$12 isn't at all unreasonable for what it is and where it's from but acknowledging the price as potentially a reason it is still available in the bottle shop is fair game IMO (said as someone who frequents Bellwoods often). Not everyone has an unlimited beer budget, and this beer came out as holiday...

The King-Spadina LCBO rang it in as 3x as well, but the cashiers all had notes stuck to the registers with the real one.

I've actually got no real conception of what 10,000 square feet looks like in grocery store form. Does anyone have a better idea, using stores in the downtown Toronto area as comparables?
