Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Well this is disappointing to hear. I wonder if I should bother keeping the bottles I grabbed for the cellar? The ones I've consumed so far were fine, but I'd hate to open a bottle a year from now only to find that it was off from the beginning. This is going to apply to a lot of people. Are all of...

I'm not touching that barley wine until someone here buys it and gives a positive review. That stuff made me cringe two winters ago and after a few sips went straight down the toilet. Thank God I had some Hardy's to cleanse my palate. Other than the painted bottle, it's no different than previous y...

They're on to us. They're in stores, but most are hiding them in back 'til the current promotion is done. They're not registering them on the website yet so we won't know where to go and pester the help.

Was in Whitby last night, and didn't see anything there. (Brock & Kingston).

This isn't bad at all. I think maybe some are going at this as an IIPA (or an imperial cascadian) and coming away disappointed because it doesn't meet style expectations. It's far closer to an ASA than an IIPA, I think. Its malt profile, which really awakens as the beer warms, is up front and sweet ...

I still have a 2008 and some 2009 peche mortel left. will be interesting to do a comparison Coffee will be real faded. But it's not! It's still better than awesome. Even better than better than awesome. It keeps getting betterer! It's just smoother and more cohesive. But still lots of coffee.

This discussion clearly belongs in the "Beer Reviews" thread, but, whatever. You guys need to give the Ghosttown another chance. You cannot take two sips of a beer such as this and then pour it. There are no off flavours. It is not a mistake. This is the way it i supposed to taste, and if ...
