How will this one change with aging? Anyone have any experience with it? I find sours to be somewhat unpredictable.

Thanks guys.

So 630 bottles. Of which probably like 2/3 end up in the GTA. That's not many, hopefully the sticker shock will deter most people.

Any info on when it'll start showing up, how much each city is getting, etc?
I especially want to know how much is coming. In other words, will I have to line up early to get it?

I find good West coast IPAs to be really heavy in aromatic hops, not bittering hops.

This event was a blast this year, like it always is. I almost always end up preferring this to most of the larger festivals. I don't know why, but brewers seem inclined to bring their seasonals and one-offs to this little festival. Nickel Brook were the most fun on the day I went. They brought most ...

An India Pale Lager, something they called a Ruby Ale, which is a hopped red I think, and a British Ale. At least those are the beers I remember them having to sample at the NA craft beer experience.

I think the thing I found most off-putting about the article was the title. Totally alarmist. But I do think someone could write a good article that just advocates for more exploration of other styles of beer. We've seen a bunch of it lately, with the trend toward barrel-aged stouts, barley wines, a...

I'm not really sure I see the author's point. There are plenty of craft beers available that don't rely strongly on hops, including everything from wheat beers to imperial stouts. The fact that the hop-forward craft beers tend to sell better is just a reality of what the market supports. Heck, if yo...
