Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Oh, and Labatt and Molson have huge tents at Mondial but they're near the front and very easy to avoid. :)

One other thing to draw upon Walter's last post - I've been looking at Buffalo, as well as the Mondial, both of which I'm looking at attending this year. This is perhaps a slippery slope, because by attending other beer festivals rather than the local one, you're doing the Ontario craft brewing ind...

Yes, admission is free and you don't require a glass. They have plastic cups at each station that you can use for each pour. I went last year Friday through Sunday and found that Friday during the day was the least busy. The evening crowd gets quite rowdy and very congested. If you're looking for a ...

That's funny, last night I had the poutine and the Mushroom Chowder... Yellow Griffin is a weird little place (28 different burgers! screams the sign) that I had pretty bad service in a few times, so I have not been back in a few years (plus their beer selection was firkin-esque). I'll check it out...

They don't make it anymore but I was able to pick up the 2001 at Rahman on Laurier (near DDC) for $6.99 in September.

They did a private order on Bièropholie for Pannepot...that's damn good stuff, I wouldn't have minded picking up a case for $110.

The Winter Warmers promo hasn't officially started so no one should get their shorts in a knot over availability just yet. I thought DFH 90 minute IPA was to be part of this release, was I sniffing airplane glue? You're probably thinking of the 60 minute...and that's supposed to be the spring relea...
