Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

To Toronto? Hopefully they just mean for testing/warehouse.

And hopefully this won't be as long on the shelves as the Green Flash.

And hopefully this will be in my belly soon!

I've never had any issue with LTM. I used to get regular bottles & big bottles when I lived in Alberta with no problem. I brought back bottles from AB to ON when I moved, and those had no problem. I've had other peoples bottles they got in QC with no problems. I got a private order case a couple...

Agreed. I also think their Mill Gap Bitter is the best bitter in the province.

Still not showing up on the LCBO site. I'm glad GL tweeted it was at the Speedvale location in Guelph.

And speaking of Guelph & LCBOs, a new LCBO just opened in the northwest and that's not on their site either.

Ken from Black Oak told us last night that it's still sitting in the warehouse awaiting Big Brother (my words, not his) to release it.

Anyone experience the porter over-carbonated? The first one I had was perfect, but I just bought one last week, drinking it now, and it's foaming like crazy. And come to think of it, I bought a bottle of two-captains last week too, same store, and it didn't taste right. I chalked it up to maybe gett...

Just dropped off some Oatmeal Coffee Stout at the Bent Elbow. They said they should be open on Monday at 4pm. 22 taps, + 1 cask. Here's some of them, off the top of my head: - SH Oatmeal Coffee Stout - Wellington SPA - Stratford Common - King Pilsner - Beau's - Great Lakes Pompous Ass (on rotating t...

Hmm, other than the owner 's elemenatary school aged daughter who is there every afternoon doing homework on her computer. And my expanding group of friends who bring in their infants & toddlers to say 'Hi' to the community; and the others who bring in their dogs... No it's simply not welcoming...

The Winking Judge & The Ship, both on Augusta Street, are the best places in city for craft beer, and they're within walking distance, if you want to walk 20+ min. However neither allow kids, so I only share this information so you know to avoid due to your circumstances. They don't allow kids ...

Has anyone found the Historic Ales From Scotland with a KELPIE in the set, especially in Mississauga? I heard on Drinkvine that *some* but not all include Kelpie in the box. Really? That sounds very un-LCBO-ish, since their job is to boorishly control everything available down to the last molecule....

There is nothing right beside Copps, but if you're willing to walk a few blocks, I have 3 to suggest. 1) The Brain, 199 James St N. - 5 Taps, all rotating, with a very good bottle menu. It's a funky place with mix-matched furniture, board games, etc. A hipster hole-in-the-wall, if you will. Probably...

Mill Street's Bob's Bearded Red is actually brewed only for Opera Bobs.
It's been on at the Wooly in Guelph for a long time now.
