Re: Common Good Beer Co.

I finally made my first visit to this place and picked up a can of each beer they had available: Sociabnle Pilsner Brown Ale Dry Hopped Belgian IPA APA Blonde Ale Really enjoyed both the brown ale and dry hopped belgian. At 7% the brown ale is stronger than most readily available counterparts. Could...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

God I sound like such a picky bastard here lately. Maybe just because I've been spoiling myself with 'brewery only' beer from all over and enjoying the hell out of it. From Ontario, or elsewhere? Yeah just Ontario. Checking out the new guys like Common Good and Halo along with personal favourites l...

sheesh, didn't this used to be 10.95 a few years ago?
This is probably my favourite local beer available at LCBO but it's hard to justify buying more than one at that price.

Re: What're you drinking right now?

Beau's St. Luke's Verse. Drainpour for me, similar spicing to Swiss Chalet dipping sauce and I just couldn't get over it. Gross. Yeah I remember trying that when it came out and it tasted like drinking a cup full of flowers and soap. I've liked some of their other spicr beers, I remember the bogwat...

Re: Crossroads (Weston & 401) clearance section

Don't waste your money! How was the LTM beer tasting? I cracked a bottle of the Kwak and Bruton and they were both tasty, though I've never had them fresh. Oh thst's the one I was describing. You get hints of a once great beer but it has an underlying rotten funk that I just couldn't get over. It w...

Re: LCBO Summer Craft Beer Release 2016

Will be a shame about The Calling IPA when it hits shelves past its prime. Their Farmhouse Ale was delicious last year but might have to wait and be hopeful for a fresher second shipment of the IPA.

Re: General LCBO Debate & Discussion Thread

I've seen a few instances in the last year where individual locations have sale price on certain items but other stores do not. Victoria Park/Ellesmere had some great deals a few months back and I grabbed Kentucky Bastard, the latest Best of Beau's, Stone Smoked Porter and Goose Island Mathilda all ...

new Beau's Fous Allies Mango Saison 600ml 449330 7.95 Had this and Beau's Patio Saison a few months ago and gotta say I wasn't a fan of the Mango Saison. The Patio Saison was fantastic however. Agreed. Won't be paying 8 bucks for this but would gladly dish it out for Patio. Matt's Sleepytime Stout ...
